Winter in CHCH - friends and family

So winter in Christchurch after a summer in Thailand - a bit of a contrast for the family but at least the southerly straight off the Antarctic didnt raise its ugly head.

As you will see in the pics we even mangaged to get Dad out on the water to test out his new engine. What is it with boys and their toys. In out house its a new computer, sound card, graphics card, motherboard, new screen etc etc in Mum and Dad's place its a new screen, a new engine on the boat and a new camera.





Had a great time catching up with friends and seeing kids grow! Great to catch up with the Burnett posee, and the Dennis household.







The grand finale and the purpose of the visit was Nanas 90th. Lunch at the golf club with all the oldies - and of course some of us youngees and our little ones. Nana is so lucky to have so many friends and a growing family. If only we were closer to see more of her and everyone else.
