Summer dayz - trips out and kids birthdays!!
Well summer is well and truely with us now so time for an update of the comings and goings of the Morwilkie possee!
Its the time for birthdays - Sam just turned one, Gendie just turned another year, the boys cousins Theo (just turned one), and friends Alice (4) , Hannah and Miles (also one) Oli about to turn 3 this week. Its also Christmas and our wedding anniversary (just turned 5 years!) So its all go go go at the end of the year.
It was nice to have John over early December and Granny Val and Roger, my Ma and Pa
for Christmas. We went on lots of picnics, lunches, beaches, water falls, parks etc.

Kates birthday early December saw an early DimSim, cocktails at the viaduct (bring on the passion fruit special at the suggestion of Ngahuia, we just missed out on pole dancing lessons so skipped to the kareoke instead! All style and talent let me tell you...wait listen for yourselves...no!! I couldnt bare to add video.

Went out to Wai-o-taiki reserve to check out the new hood for Sara and Kate, lovely walk along the waters edge and a great reserve at the end with ducks, pukekos etc...sweet spot.
Sams first birthday was a picnic at the zoo. Nice that all the grandparents were around. Maybe there is an advantage to having your birthday so close to Christmas after all!!!
